Cook County had 1,000 doses of flu vaccine to give out today. On the news they said the wait was 2½ hours.
In contrast, when I got my flu vaccine on campus in late October, there was nobody in front of me, and nobody behind me. It took me under 15 minutes from the time I walked into the health services building, registered, paid my $10, walked upstairs to the shot room, and walked out of the building.
