Even though I am in the IT industry, and see some pretty amazing things done with technology almost on a daily basis, sometimes I still get a "isn't that cool" feeling about pretty simple things.

For instance, today as I was doing some medical insurance paper work, I realized that I needed a form. No problem. Just go out to the insurance company's web site, download the form, and 10 minutes later I am stuffing the completed form into an envelope. Just a few years ago the high tech way to get a form would be to wait until Monday to get to work, call the insurance company and have them fax the form to me.
