A friend I made in one of my classes owns forest land near this property for sale. It is 100 acres on the UP of Michigan. He said they are asking way too much for it ($359,500), and that if I offered $100K - $125K that he would probably sell it to me. He said their realtor is being unrealistic and is trying to find a hunting club that would buy it rather than an individual. I think my friend wants me to buy it because he doesn't want the traffic that a hunting club would bring.

One day we would like to buy land like this and have dogs, goats, sheep, chickens, go hunting, and install a pool and hot tub (Sheri's requirement). Of course we would also have to get a satellite dish for cable and high-speed internet. One of these days.
