I really need to buy a battery powered backup sump pump. (The prices are from Home Depot's site.) I have not done any measurements (yet!), but with any kind of rain, we pump several gallons of water per hour. Maybe 20 gph? If we lost power, or the main pump malfunctioned we would be in big trouble.
