The pork loin and stuffing turned out fantastic. The pork was very moist and flavorful. All I did was put a coat of olive oil on it, and then a heavy coat of kosher salt, fresh ground pepper, and garlic powder. It spent about 1.5 hours on the spit and got its internal temperature up to 173 degrees. I would have only liked it to have gotten up to about 155 degrees. It was still good though.

I forgot to put the mushrooms in the stuffing, and Sheri picked up the spicy sausage rather than the sage sausage, and we didn't have any celery to put in so I put in double onion, and the store didn't have Pepperidge Farms stuffing mix so we bought Butternut stuffing mix, but the stuffing still turned out very good. I guess it is hard to screw up stuffing.

At the grocery store last night we bought a package each of prunes, dates, and figs. We had a conversation a few weeks ago about what each tastes like. We saw all of these displayed next to each other so we go one of each. Get ready for this.... Sheri loves loves loves prunes! She has already finished the whole package. She said she always wants to keep them on hand.

I love dates, but they are so sweet you have to eat them like candy. I like figs alright, and Sheri decided she does too. They are enjoyable to eat, but I don't get cravings for them.
