I updated the firmware on our router Friday afternoon. Sheri brought her laptop home that evening and I couldn't connect to the router wirelessly that night. Crap. Saturday I tried connecting from the laptop to the router with a LAN cable. Still couldn't get it to work. Crap. Our two main computers continued to work fine through the router. Didn't have to change anything after the router update. This morning I tried bypassing the router and connect the laptop directly to the cable modem. Still wouldn't connect. Yippee! That means it is not a problem with the router, but with the laptop. Whew. Sheri will open up a ticket at work tomorrow.

Tim, this is how your laptop was acting was I was visiting. Did you ever open a ticket at work to have them take a look at it?
