Fun news!

Tim has been promoted at work, and will be the branch manager at their office in Grand Rapids, Michigan! They will be moving in just one or two months. Grand Rapids should only be about a three hour drive from our house.

Lisa already has an arrangement with her company to continue working for them remotely from home doing payroll, etc. on a part-time basis, with occasional trips back to Toledo for meetings.

There is a car-ferry called the S.S. Badger that makes daily runs between Ludington, Michigan and Manitowoc, Wisconsin. When we visit them, we will probably try that at least once. It would actually be longer than just driving there, but it would be fun. From our house to Manitowoc is about a 3 hour drive, and from Ludington to Grand Rapids is about a 1.5 hour drive.

I have some concerns about them living in Michigan, though. I will have to make sure that they have plenty of Ohio State Buckeye flags, shirts, etc. to deter the evil Wolverines from corrupting them.
