Sheri and her Mom are spending the day with the B'hamers in the City. (I have to work.) Last night Sheri and I outlined a general plan for them to follow:

1. Sheri and her Mom take the train into the City. The B'hamers walk from their hotel and meet them at Union Station.

2. Walk across the street to Crepe Cliché for breakfast. They do a very good and filling breakfast crepe. Their coffee is also very good because they blend and roast their green coffee beans right there in the restaurant.

3. Take the water taxi up the Chicago River to Navy Pier. Spend some time here looking at the skyine and maybe ride the Ferris wheel.

4. Walk to the Hancock Tower and go to the lounge to have a soda and marvel at the view.

5. Take the L to Wrigleyville. Spend some time here just soaking up the sights, sounds, and smells of a Chicago neighborhood, and also see The Friendly Confines.

6. Walk to a Chicago institution for lunch: Penny's Noodle Shop.

That should keep them busy and entertained for most of the day, but it is loose enough they can make a detour if they see something that interests them.
